In the realm of industrial furnaces and ovens, safety is as critical as efficiency. To ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance, understanding Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) is indispensable. At Lucifer Furnaces, we prioritize your safety by providing comprehensive MSDS for all our components, including hearth plates, heating elements, and more. This blog serves as a crucial resource, offering detailed insights into the safe handling, storage, and usage of these key components. Whether you're involved in aerospace engineering, automotive manufacturing, or any industry reliant on heat treating processes, these MSDS will guide you towards maintaining a safe and compliant workspace.

Please refer to your Lucifer Furnaces Instruction Manual for detailed health and safety information concerning your heat treating furnace or industrial oven. Instruction Manuals are created specifically for the furnace/oven ordered and provide detailed information on your custom build.

Lucifer Furnaces does not use asbestos, mercury or ozone depleting chemicals in the manufacture of any product. Furnace chambers are lined with insulating firebrick, a refractory material which has never contained asbestos. Lucifer Furnaces uses a dry-fit method to line the heating chamber.

For furnace service and repair, Lucifer Furnaces, Inc. recommends wearing a NIOSH certified respirator N95 or higher. Please refer to the MSDS information.
