Lucifer Furnaces does not use asbestos, mercury or ozone depleting chemicals in the manufacture of any product. Furnace chambers are lined with insulating firebrick, a refractory material which has never contained asbestos. Lucifer Furnaces uses a dry-fit method to line the heating chamber.
For furnace service and repair, Lucifer Furnaces, Inc. recommends wearing a NIOSH certified respirator N95 or higher. Please refer to the MSDS information.

Furnaces/ovens must run through the dry-out procedure as outlined in the Instruction Manual after the installation of any new insulating materials or heating elements. Furnace/oven may emit steam, liquids, smoke and/or odors during the dry out period.
